Meeting for Security Arrangements

Dear Residents of Block 13,

I am Anwer Ali Zuberi, a resident of this Block for more than 35 years. I would like to share my humble point of view regarding our existing security system and the few unpleasant incidents that have occurred in recent days.

First of all, I express my deepest sympathy with those residents who have suffered losses. I fully understand and agree with their concerns. My intention is not to disagree with anyone’s point of view; rather, all comments reflect genuine concern. In fact, residents are trying to suggest better solutions to make our security arrangements stronger and more effective.

There is no doubt that we all need a proper security system. An effective security system can minimize the risk of unpleasant incidents. Our Association is serving voluntarily and is doing its best with sincerity, honesty, and dedication, with the support of all residents.

The Association and the Security Team are monitoring the entry entrances where suspicious individuals may attempt to enter the Block-13. Improvements are being made day by day. According to the security supervisors, residents generally cooperate with the Guards at the entrances, while outsiders often resist.

Guests and Visitors of residents are highly respected. However, for your safety and protection, it is necessary to verify their identity. I kindly request residents to allow the Security Guards to make a confirmation call if he is not satisfied with the Visitor’s explanation.

Regarding Delivery Personnel, they will be allowed to leave the Block only after their bags or boxes are checked, which is necessary for collective safety. It is also important to close a few entrances from where suspicious people or vehicles may enter the block. Such decisions require our collective wisdom and support.

I urge all residents, especially senior citizens, to join us at the Association’s temporary office B-148, Block-13 on this Saturday at 11:00 p.m., so that we can take strong and effective decisions together.

Dear friends, our protection lies in unity, not division. I am writing this message with good intentions and for the safety and well-being of all of us.

Best Regards,

Anwer Ali Zuberi
